Buy the Klaudio Silencer KD-SIL-S2 – a quieter cleaning station
A record cleaner needs a place to operate, and it makes sound while working. If you clean records near a listening or living area, a suitable enclosure can make the arrangement more comfortable. This Klaudio silencer surrounds a compatible LP200S or LP200T and reduces the operating noise reaching the room. Its purpose is acoustic damping; it does not wash or dry records itself.
Acoustic treatment needs ventilation
The enclosure combines acrylic, steel and brushed aluminium with sound-absorbing material and seals. An active airflow channel uses fans for ventilation. That matters because cleaning and drying still take place inside the case. The result is not a silent machine. How noticeable the difference is also depends on your room, installation and listening distance; we do not promise a fixed reduction in noise at your listening position.
Keep access and choose the right configuration
The manufacturer states that the standard version is not compatible with Klaudio’s automatic record loader. If you use a KD-ATL-RCM05 or specifically plan that arrangement, choose the KD-SIL-S2ATL instead. Separate doors provide access to the record and front controls. The external reservoir still needs its intended position beside or below the installation. Keep the necessary air paths, cable connections and water routes unobstructed.
A specific addition to your cleaning system
This silencer is worth considering when you want your existing or planned Klaudio installation to operate more quietly in its chosen location. The right combination of components is the key. Check the model and available space before purchasing; do not transfer dimensions or included accessories from a similar-looking version. Michael 45 dispatches the enclosure from Hilden, Germany. Current availability appears beside the purchase button. The cleaner’s own operating and maintenance instructions remain the reference for caring for your records.
Quick answers
Is a record-cleaning machine included?
No. This listing is for the acoustic enclosure. The cleaner is not included.
Will my auto loader fit?
The standard version does not fit with Klaudio’s automatic loader. The separate KD-SIL-S2ATL is designed for that configuration.
Will cleaning become silent?
No. The enclosure reduces operating noise. The effect at your installation also depends on the room and distance.
