Gatefold describes a folding jacket, not the number of records. This method always uses two outer sleeves, even when the album contains only one record. Count inner sleeves per record instead.
Two individual sleeves from the 25-pack per gatefold, not two packs. Still check the dimensions of the jacket panels. The ready-made gatefold sleeve remains a separate alternative in the range.
Reseal the jacket pocket. DP4R12 is also Michael’s gatefold building block: connect two sleeves using the adhesive strips.
DP4SF12 uses a tuck-in flap. An alternative for regular Dual Pocket use without an adhesive closure, not the component for Michael’s adhesive-strip method.

A three-panel folding jacket needs sleeves that follow its construction. The Multifunctional sleeve sits between two Dual Pocket outer sleeves.
Join the three sleeves using their adhesive strips: one outer sleeve to the Multifunctional centre section, then the centre section to the second outer sleeve. Together they form the solution for the tri-fold jacket.
Per tri-fold: two individual Dual Pocket outer sleeves and one individual Multifunctional sleeve, not three packs. Count inner sleeves separately per record. Check the jacket panel dimensions.
See the Multifunctional sleeve ↗Some releases have unusually large jackets. This is relatively uncommon, but a standard 12″ outer sleeve can be too tight. The 12.75″ Dual Pocket provides extra room for the packaging of a 12″ record; the record itself is not a different size. Compare your jacket’s width, height and thickness with the product specifications before buying. Even 12.75″ is not a universal fit for every special package.
The jacket and record have separate pockets. Put the record in a suitable inner sleeve first, then into the second pocket. You can access the record while leaving the jacket protected.
No. Double LP describes record count; gatefold describes a folding jacket. The actual packaging shape and measurements determine the outer sleeve choice.
No. 12″ primarily describes the record format. Thick card, inserts and oversized jackets require more room. Measure width, height and thickness and allow for tolerances.
The series name alone cannot establish fit. Compare your box with the listed 326 × 326 × 34 mm box-sleeve dimensions. Clarify fit before buying if measurements are close.
A mil is one thousandth of an inch, not a millimetre. 4mil is about 0.102 mm and 3mil about 0.076 mm. Film thickness alone does not establish jacket fit.
No. Sleeves do not remove dirt or existing scratches. Let cleaned records dry completely before placing them into clean inner sleeves.
