The machine

Ultrasonic cleaning and integrated drying. The LP200T version uses an external water reservoir.

The cleaning area

Plan a stable, accessible setup with room for the reservoir, tubing and controls. Cleaning and listening need not happen at the same time.

The silencer

An optional acoustic enclosure. It is not a washing machine or an auto-loader. Available versions differ by system configuration.

The clean inner sleeve

After complete drying, place the record in a clean inner sleeve. Cleaning does not remove physical scratches or replace careful storage.

Find the right water
in the manual.

For the KD-CLN-LP200T, Klaudio specifies tap or bottled drinking water without cleaning additives. The model-specific manual explicitly says not to use distilled water. Do not transfer advice for other Klaudio models to this unit without checking.

How do I wash my records?

For the Klaudio KD-CLN-LP200T shown here, preparation, ultrasonic washing and complete drying form one routine. Check the record format first and follow the model-specific instructions for water and operation. After washing, place the dry record in a clean inner sleeve.

Is a silencer a record cleaning machine?

No. It is an acoustic enclosure for a compatible Klaudio setup. The cleaning machine and any auto-loader are separate components.

Does it clean 7″ and 10″ records?

The manufacturer lists separate adapters for these vinyl formats. They are not automatically included with the machine shown here. Check contents and compatibility before buying.

Can I clean shellac?

Klaudio does not recommend this unit for shellac. The format check does not suggest LP200T cleaning for shellac records.

Will washing remove scratches?

No. Cleaning can remove dirt but does not repair a damaged groove. A crackle-free result cannot be promised for every record.

Does the record need to be dry afterwards?

Yes. The offered machine includes drying. Make sure the record is completely dry before placing it into a clean inner sleeve.

Which acoustic enclosure do I need?

That depends on the setup: external reservoir alone or with an auto-loader. Confirm all model designations before ordering.
