A 10″ pressing is neither a small single nor a standard LP. For EPs and albums in this intermediate format, it makes sense to use an inner sleeve designed around the record’s actual size. These rice-paper inner sleeves are intended for 10″ records. There is no need to fold a larger LP sleeve or tuck excess film into the jacket.
Smooth film with anti-static properties
Mint lists this variant as IS2_10HDPE, with a thickness of 2 mil, approximately 50 microns. HDPE film is combined with a rice-paper layer, and the sleeve has anti-static properties. This helps reduce static build-up; it does not make a record dust-free or self-cleaning. A cleaned, completely dry record belongs in a clean sleeve. Heavily soiled old sleeves should no longer be used directly around the playing surface.
Keep the original sleeve with the release
A printed original inner sleeve is often part of the edition. Keep it with the album and use this additional inner sleeve for the record itself. If space inside the jacket is tight, a matching dual-pocket outer sleeve offers another arrangement: the jacket goes into one pocket, and the record in its new inner sleeve into the other.
